1、液压油的粘度一般是比较小的，而润滑油的粘度一般是比较大的，液压油当做润滑油使用时，油膜的形成是比较困难的，而这就容易导致机器磨损比较大2、液压油与润滑油的主要作用不同，它们里面的添加剂也是不同的。而两种油混用的话会导致性能的变化，甚至发生化学反应从而使得油变质。
3、液压系统的工作温度并不高，但是液压油传递的单位压力却很大。然而发动机曲轴箱的工作温度很高，加上燃烧室高温高压燃气的窜入，这就会使得液压油的各项功能更快失效，从而导致机器磨损加大，严重者会导致更大的损失。
